States that Te Wananga is not responsible for the Maori translation of the Committee findings.
Petition from Ngāti Toa, concerning the land survey that has encroached upon Ngāti Toa lands. Reports the Committee reply that this is a matter for the Government to investigate.
Petition from Hirini Taiwhanga. States that this is the second petition and the Committee has already commented on the first.
Petition from Ani Ngarae Honetana and two companions. Concerns the transfer of a Crown grant following the death of Honetana's mother. States that only one name has been placed on the grant and this excludes Honetana. Gives the Committee reply that Honetana and her children should be included.
Petition from some Maori people from Hauraki. Concerns a mining licence on their lands and states that they are yet to receive the money. States that if no payment is forthcoming, they will close the lands. Gives Committee reply that this is a matter for the judiciary.

Discusses several issues including Maori representation and overseas borrowing by the Government. States that there are 40,000 Maori in New Zealand.
