Release candidate 1 of GS3.12 (GS3.12 rc1) is out now.
You can download binaries for Windows (tested on Windows 10), Linux 64 bit (tested on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS) and Linux 32 bit (untested), and Mac (tested on Sonoma 14.7.6) from the Greenstone snapshots page at https://www.greenstone.org/snapshots

The highlight of this release is the Files tab pane in GLI that Kathy worked tirelessly on, which allows you to edit crucial Greenstone configuration files from within GLI. It becomes especially useful if your Greenstone server is hosted on a remote host machine, and select administrators and interface designers need access to specific Greenstone files to change its look or other configurable settings, but don’t have full access to the host machine/the full Greenstone installation.
And if you missed the old Phind and/or Collage applets, they are now available again, having been ported into the latest Greenstone 3 using webswing.
Please try out the GS3.12rc1 for your OS and let us know of any issues, so that we can try to have them fixed in time for the upcoming 3.12 release.
